Engineers John and Wayne survey the re-pointed brickwork in the 11.3 million brick, 37 arch, 1839 built Ouse Valley Viaduct on the London, Brighton, South Coast Railway at Balcombe, West Sussex. Railtrack had just spent 4 years restoring the 1,475 ft long structure.
