Reflected Glory
Brighton Pavilion was freed from a cage of scaffolding and tarpaulin for the first time in ten years at the end of a £10 million refurbishment. The result was photographed using the reflection it cast in a little 12ft by 8ft ornamental pond in the grounds. Puzzled visitors who had seen the picture kept asking the Pavilion staff where the lake was.
